Food security continues to emerge as an urgent need for immigrant and refugee families still battling the impact of COVID-19. In the AAFSC Research Institute’s most recent publication, we break down the rise in food insecurity and highlight the positive long-term outcomes of our culturally-competent food security initiatives. Through a longitudinal evaluation approach, we found that 94% of clients enrolled in SNAP benefits are food secure one year after receiving our case management support.
