NYT Survey: Are You of Middle Eastern or North African Descent?

The New York Times is conducting a survey that explores how people of Middle Eastern and North African descent in the United States identify themselves. Through this project, The Times hopes to amplify the voices of people from the MENA community and illuminate how our community grapples with complicated questions around race, identity and a sense of belonging.
