Through our Prevent Priority Area, AAFSC works with families to prevent child abuse, neglect, and domestic and gender-based violence. We keep children out of foster care, building on the strengths already present within homes and communities and help families develop new tools for success through two evidence-based practice models: Solution-Based Casework (SBC) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT).
