In this latest report by the AAFSC Research Institute, we examine the efficacy of recently launched government economic recovery programs, such as the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), the Excluded Workers Fund, and the Expanded Child Tax Credit, in reaching low-income immigrant and refugee communities. Findings from this report demonstrate significant breakdowns in awareness, accessibility, and distribution of essential government relief to low-income immigrant and refugee families that endured severe economic hardship during the pandemic, and who continue to navigate its long-term effects. Below, you can read the full report, including our recommendations for enhancing access for those who most need support.
