Health Messaging for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Communities

The AAFSC Research Institute is proud to have contributed to the SUNY Prepare Innovation and Internship Seed Grant Program’s recent study on addressing the impact of COVID-19 vaccinations on limited English proficient populations in NY. In a policy brief analyzing the social, economic, and political conditions that impact Members of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities when consuming health information, the report states, “A number of conditions must exist so that members of a CALD community can effectively consume information about vaccination, contemplate the decision to vaccinate, motivate themselves to vaccinate, and act on their vaccination decision.” You can read the full report and view the infographic, below.
