The AAFSC Research Institute’s Community Needs Assessment Report captures the immense and evolving impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable community members. Dissecting over 900 responses captured between March 2020 and June 2021, our findings highlight the prevalence of food insecurity, mental health challenges, linguistic difficulties, and barriers to healthcare access. In response to emerging needs, AAFSC continues to expand our suite of complementary programs to meet the needs of low-income immigrant communities through culturally and linguistically competent social services.
