Safe harbor: Downtown group helps Iraqi refugees who faced death threats resettle in Sheepshead Bay

A young couple who fled death threats in their native Iraq when they were teenagers are now raising their young daughter in Sheepshead Bay with the support of the Arab-American Family Support Center who help immigrants and refugees resettle in Brooklyn through the New Immigrants and Refugees Fund.
